October Giveaway: $115 in FREE books and MORE!

If you've been a reader of On The Lap for even a short amount of time, you probably truly know the love we have for The Read~Aloud Handbook by Jim Trelease.  We were so excited last month when Jim sent us an autographed copy of his awesome book.  We think that every parent should be handed this book when they leave the hospital with their baby, it's that important.  It's almost as good as a "how to" guide for raising children that some of us desperately wish we had when we did leave the hospital with our precious bundles of sweetness.

Our October giveaway features this amazing book with the authors autograph and a pile of books to get you started.

Plus, you'll also receive an instant PDF download from on of our featured DIY Literacy Projects, by Neskita.

My all-time favorite children's book would have to be "Bedtime for Francis". I giggle every time the daddy badger askes, "And do you know what will happen if you don't do your job?"

LOL!
